Visit Aspen Art Museum
Located in the center of Aspen, the museum features contemporary art exhibitions from all over the world. You can also enjoy workshops and public programs there. What is more, the building itself, designed by Shigeru Ban, is a piece of art. Literally! While there, don’t miss the chance to admire the breathtaking views from the roof of the building.
Go ice skating
You don’t have to be able to do pirouettes to enjoy ice skating. Aspen offers many rinks to practice it. Take a hot choco and feel like a queen dancing on ice. But watch out! If you fall, the landing will be hard.
Try fat biking
Growing in popularity, fat biking is gaining more and more fans. It is a great activity for non-skiers in Aspen. A fat bike is a bike with extensive tires. It makes it easy to ride on snow. When the conditions are good (most importantly, avalanche conditions aren’t high), rent a fat bike and try one of the routes. You can choose Rio Grande Trail or Maroon Creek Road if you are a beginner.
Be brave to paraglide
Are you still wondering what to do in Aspen if you don’t ski? Maybe you will be brave enough to try paragliding? You can book a tandem flight and admire the bird’s eye views. It will certainly be an experience you will never forget. Don’t forget to get some pictures!
Enjoy Après-ski
Last but not least – the après-ski is even for many skiers the reason to go to Aspen. “Après-ski” comes from French and means “after-ski.” A culture that came from Europe fits perfectly with ours as well. Going for a drink (or two) after a day of skiing and riding is already a lifestyle. Don’t care about your looks – skiers go there in ski-shoes and heavy clothes. Enjoying the party on the slope is a great Aspen winter activity for non-skiers as well.
Aspen for non-skiers?

What makes Aspen even more attractive for tourists is the proximity to the airport. Aspen Pitkin County Airport is located just 4 miles from the city center. Another closest airport is 70 miles away – Eagle Vail Airport. A private airport car service will make sure that you will get to Aspen safely. You can also get there from Denver International Airport.
