How to Become a Limo Driver?
To start a career as a limo (limousine) driver, you must have a standard driver’s license. Before you start work, most companies provide a one or two-week training program. During this training, you learn basic limousine maintenance and care, how to read road maps and use navigation systems, and the proper way to communicate with clients.
What Does a Limo Driver Do?
Limo drivers, also called chauffeurs, pick up and transport passengers in limousines. They may drive a variety of limo types, including town cars and SUV limos. The limo chauffeur’s job is to clean and maintain the interior and exterior of their vehicle, assist passengers and their belongings in and out of the limousine, and always select a safe route to the destination. Limo drivers typically work for limousine rental companies and work on a weekly or nightly schedule. Some limo drivers may also work as private chauffeurs.
What Full-Time Position Requires?
This full-time position requires a driver to have at the very minimum of two years of driving experience. We need an extremely flexible driver, up to 5 days per week. This driver must understand the extreme weather conditions and withstand those changing conditions throughout all seasons. We also require our candidates to have experience with knowing the locations for drop-off and pick-up for ski resorts, hotels, and airports. Please do not apply for this position if you don’t have two years of driving experience, don’t know drop-off locations, and cannot be flexible.
Chauffeur Drivers needed (Aurora)
Employment Type: Part-time, on-call, and night shifts available.
Job Title: Silver Mountain Express is hiring experienced chauffeur drivers for part-time, night shift, and on-call positions. Training will be provided.
No special driver’s license is needed, as you will be driving a standard SUV or van.
Chauffeurs will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our clients while ensuring timely and safe transportation.
This is a 1099 contract position, and the company provides the vehicle, fuel, and all necessary supplies.
Requirements:
- Must be located near Southland Mall in Aurora due to last-minute trips and our office location in Aurora.
- Minimum of 2 years of driving experience in the Colorado mountains.
- Must possess a Colorado driver’s license, and meet state requirements for background checks, medical cards, and drug screenings.
- To comply with insurance requirements, you must have a clean driving record, have held a license for at least 5 years, and be at least 35 years old.
- Must be punctual, polite, professional, and possess good English communication skills.
- Chauffeurs are responsible for their own uniform: black pants, white shirt, black shoes, and black jacket.
- Must be willing to drive in any weather conditions.
- Face and neck tattoos are not permitted.
